i love it

C is on vay cay with the husband in Nova Scotia and I am left in charge of maintaing the blog...admittingly slacking...I finally had some time tonight to browse through Etsy and found this shop called Kelgwo which is based in Chile...ummm...the pieces are amazing!!! The shop is made up of 7 local Chilean women who design, colour, dye, knit and weave. All the items I put pics up of are between $90.00 - $200.00 which may seem a little pricey but I would totally pay it to look this great, not to mention how posh I would be buying hand woven wraps from Chile - come on, seriously!!!! The products are gorgeous.

breakfast...yummm!!

I was browsing the Real Simple website and caught sight of this amazing recipe for Prosciutto and Egg Panini...it looks super delicious. I am a big prosciutto fan, mainly because it's salty but it would be so good for breakie and especially with egg and cheese - YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!

Check out the recipe, it may just be our Sunday breakfast...

wedding day...

So I've been meaning to post about this for a long time but like C has said things have been a little crazy for both of us. On August 16th Portia de Rossi and Ellen Degeneres tied the knot!!!! Not to mention that I am obsessed with the Ellen show (remember P.Diddy's taste buddies?) and totally laughed my heini (sp?) off at Arrested Development but I facilitate a Gay Straight Alliance at the highschool I work at. This was a really publicized event and to that I say kudos to Ellen and Portia for being like every other couple out there and giving the students I work with some inspiration and confidence.

Ellen and Portia had some of the most beautiful photos I have seen so check them out...all the white and soft pink was so pretty.

accessorize!

I know, I know...we have been short on posts, but hopefully some beautiful accessories will make you perk up on this Thursday morning.

First in line is this adorable clutch from Love Parcel. It's only $48! I love that it has a handle, so it's easy to carry.

Because your handbag was so inexpensive, you can totally justify purchasing these BEAUTY-ful shoes from Valentino! You can pick them up at Neiman Marcus.
Now, of course you need a bracelet. I love this bangel from Anthropologie. It's so delicate, but definitely a statement piece!

At too finish off, I think the whole look would be amazing paired with navy blue. This cute dress is the Rebecca dress from J. Crew.

sorry...

Yes, I know, we have been out of touch for a while. Seems that M and I have trouble doing more than one thing at a time. You see, M works at a high school and I work at an elementary school, now that the summer is over, we need to get back into our school year routine. We promise, lots of exciting, informative and fun post to come!

work it out!

I may have said this before, but I am a lover of office products!  Seriously, I could spend hours in Staples.  I will even look at the catalogue.  The curious part is, I don't work in an office.  I have my work studio at home...half computer space and half workspace.  Despite all this, I continue to buy office stuff...I love me some pretty pushpins, magnets, post-its, pads of paper (I love to make lists, and the lined steno pad is my first choice!)  Well, now I have some more things to covet at Girl of All Work. (thank you Parcel Post!)

Just take a gander at these gorgeous goodies...all of which I want in my possession.  Fun page flags and bookmarks, beautiful note books, totally cool magnets...and check out the fab CD labels and sleeves!!

Now only if they would make a magic genie that would come and clean up my messy space!

just sharing...

I came across these super cute finds at Plum Party.  Every once in a while, I check out their site to see what new items they have, and this is what I found that caught my this morning.

These are really cute individual cake plates, they would be super for a mixed shower or an outdoor party...

These really crack me up, especially the "gold digger" and "porn star"...they would be alot of fun at a personal shower or for a girl's night out...

great gift idea for a hostess

These I thought were really pretty and come in a 5 pack for $21.00, they would be adorable for the little people in your wedding party or to give to your guests at the church...
