sister love

I've already got them listed under "our faves", but I just want to send a shout out to my sisters. They both have blogs, and one even has an online store.

First off is my sister S. Her site is Garnish, I've posted about it before, and she's got a great blog where she shares her ideas. Garnish has all kinds of great packaging ideas for food and favours...just about everything. Please check Garnish out, if haven't already!


Next up, my sister M...we've called her M2 here before, as not to confuse her with M, who is the other half of Avocado Kiss. She did a fab job of guest blogging for us a few weeks ago, and finally took the leap to start her own blog. You can check her out at A Girl Named Fred.

Okay, so I don't really drink Vodka...unless it's in some kind of drink that tastes more like fruit juice than booze, like a banana martini. Back to my point, so if I did care about the Vodka I drank, then it would definitely be this Lovejoy brand (thank you Design Crush). It's from Integrity Spirits, a Portland based distillery, and the branding is courtesy of ID Branding, also based in Portland. How cool would these bottles looked displayed on my chrome bar cart (okay, so I don't actually have one, but am looking...). For a wedding, this would be very, very cool displayed at the bar!

The best part about the movie Juno, is all of the quotes and conversations. Diablo Cody obviously won her Oscar for the screenplay for a reason. You can check out a lot of the sayings here, but I've listed some of my favourites below:

I finally watched Juno on the weekend...it was fantastic! I especially loved the soundtrack...this is one of my faves!

the best dressed guest

We saw this dress at White House Black Market and think that it would be so chic to wear to a wedding, maybe even as bridesmaid dresses. It's reasonably priced at $178. Instead of wearing it with heels (unless you're vertically challenged), I might choose a sparkly flat, much more fashion forward and you'll be able to dance all night! Here are a few choices...

M and I also found this fab product on our travels to Minneapolis. This Depuffing Action Eye Gel from Benefit totally works...for reals! I think everyone at Sephora probably figured that out too, because M and I kept looking at ourselves in the mirror saying, "I can totally see the difference, can't you see the difference?" and, "oh my God, my eyes totally look awesome!" and, "does everyone know about this, because this stuff is totally amazing!". The description of how to use the product on the box is hilarious, definitely worth the price of admission.
